Noise rejection is critical, and Clarus high current power cables rely on proprietary winding techniques and dual shielding to limit EMI egress and ingress along with noise from a building’s electrical grid, thus ensuring a low noise floor for sensitive components. Since line and neutral alternate back and forth 60 times per second, vibration isolation is also critical. Power amps tend to draw current in pulses, and excess resistance in a power cable may restrict the peak level of a required pulse, limiting the transient response of the amplifier.
