Sony - NW-ZX507

Combining convenience with quality, the silver NW-ZX507 Walkman Digital Audio Player from Sony is engineered to deliver a high-end audio experience on the go. The ZX507 supports High-Res Audio playback at higher bitrates than CD audio, along with additional technologies to enhance your music. The S-Master HX digital amp works towards reducing distortion and noise, while DSEE HX upscales your compressed files to return lost audio fidelity. You can playback your improved audio through a dedicated 4.4mm balanced or 3.5mm unbalanced headphone port.

If you enjoy the convenience of wireless Bluetooth streaming, the ZX507 is designed to deliver High-Resolution Audio wirelessly as well, thanks to the LDAC and aptX HD codecs. Speaking of wireless audio, the ZX507 can access a wide variety of streaming audio apps via its Android OS and support for Wi-Fi networks. You also have the option of storing your own music files on 64GB of built-in storage, which can be expanded via an (optional) microSD card, or access your PC's music collection over Wi-Fi. All playback is controlled by the 3.6" touchscreen display, and on a full charge, the Walkman can last for up to 20 hours.

Even the physical construction of the ZX507 is meant to increase audio quality. Everything from the rigid, milled aluminum body and copper-milled block, to the boards and components that are attached to them. Components such as the FT CAP, dual crystal oscillators, and an optimized circuit board, come together to make bass reproduction more powerful as well as reducing distortion and noise from your music.

Connecting Bluetooth devices is made easier with NFC technology. Simply tap the device to the Walkman to quickly pair them together.

With vinyl processing, you can choose to add the warmth and dynamic sound of listening to vinyl, to your digital files. This processing technology works to reproduce vinyl's low-frequency resonance, tone-arm resistance, and surface noise for an authentic experience.

The ZX507 Walkman supports MQA (Master Quality Authenticated), which is an audio format that compresses large studio-quality files without an audible loss, letting you experience music as it was intended.

Harkening back to the early days of the Walkman, this combination user interface and screensaver display an old cassette tape, which changes based on the codec that's playing.

Up to 20 hours of battery life when listening to 128 kbps MP3 files, or up to 18 hours when listening to 96 kHz FLAC files.

Physical playback buttons on the side of the Walkman lets you play/pause, change music selection, and adjust the volume.
